HOW TO NEVER FORGET A SONG

2014- present

People come and go, while tattoos exist in a state of personal eternity. This is a collection of photographs taken in my art studios in London, Hastings, and Old Habits Tattoo, along with other locations across Europe. I love taking pictures in my studio because it is the place where I paint and print—a temple of creation and an intimate space where I enjoy watching my tattoos live and move among my paintings and sculptures.
In doing so, I aim to situate the practice of tattooing within the broader context of art creation. By stepping back with the camera, the studio transforms into a stage where these individuals exist. This allows me to observe the relationships between them and their environment. Artworks become props for portraits, and people become the living characters of paintings. Everything merges.
